The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is proud to announce that Straumann Group will sponsor the 2025 ºìÐÓÊÓƵ International Dental Clinical Skills Competition in Malaysia, taking place on Saturday 16 August.
This exciting partnership will support nine dental schools from universities across Malaysia as they compete in a series of timed challenges designed to test their clinical skills and adaptability, with a few surprises along the way.

Dr Benjamin Soo Chu Ann joined Straumann Group as the first-ever intern under the IMU–Straumann Implant Practitioner Development Programme. A graduate of IMU University, Malaysia, Dr Benjamin completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in December 2024. Straumann Group is proud to support his journey as he begins the next chapter in his professional development.
Currently, Dr Benjamin is deepening his expertise in implant dentistry through the IMU–Straumann Implant Practitioner Programme, where he is interning with the Training & Education department at Straumann Group Malaysia. Apart from the programme, he was awarded the Diploma of Primary Care Dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College Surgeons of Ireland.
Dr Benjamin will be presenting a talk at the ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Dental Clinical Skills Competition, sponsored by Straumann Group, entitled Embark into Implant Dentistry with International Team for Implantology (ITI) to the students on 16 August 2025.
