The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ) extends its congratulations to its fellows and diplomates who were recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2025.
Professor Peter Brennan, Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and Honorary Professor of Surgery, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Surgery and Patient Safety.
Catharina Van Doorn, Head of Congenital Cardiac Surgery and Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Children's Heart Surgery and to Charity.
Tracey Sandom, Lately Chair, British Association of Dental Therapists, was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Dental Therapy and to the NHS in Wales.
Ian Bowler, Chair and Clinical Lead, Medserve Wales, was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to National Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine.
